Wonder what party they're from?

It never fails, if I start reading a news article and the political affiliation isn't identified, then they wind up being Democrats. Yeah, Fox leans right and people always point the finger at Fox because of it, but the truth is all the others lean left. An example of one of these articles is the one I just read: DEEP BACKGROUND, NBC News Investigates. Obviously didn't dig deep enough to find out their political party. (snort) Fed's Probe Countrywide's VIP Program is the name of the article.

http://deepbackground.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/10/30/1613877.aspx

"The Justice Department is making very serious inquiry into any possible wrongdoing that may involve (former Countrywide CEO) Angelo Mozilo, other Countrywide employees, Sen. Chris Dodd, Sen. Kent Conrad, (former Fannie Mae CEO) Franklin Raines or other public officials," said Feinberg's lawyer, Anthony Salerno. "Robert has always cooperated thoroughly with authorities and is strictly a witness in their investigation."

That was the giveaway - they didn't say (D/R:State). If you go to Wikipedia you will of course find all three are Democrats. I went to Wikipedia after I read the following paragraph:

"Feinberg's client list also runs the gamut. Among those benefitting from the VIP program were four former Cabinet members spanning Democratic and Republican administrations: Henry Cisneros, Richard Holbrooke, Alphonso Jackson, and Donna Shalala. Two former CEO's of Fannie Mae, James Johnson and Franklin Raines, heads of the government-sponsored entity which bought Countrywide's mortgages - also received VIP mortgages from Countrywide."

So for all these names they have thrown out and the way they word it they want the reader to believe both parties share equal responsibility, the truth is only one of these people is a Repulican - Alphonso Jackson. Of course they really don't want to tag him either because he's black and the media just doesn't want it to get out that there are black Republicans. Look at Jimmy Walker (Good Times Di-No-Mite) - poor guy said he was a Republican and couldn't get a bit job in a McDonalds commerical afterwards. I know, you're going to say he never worked again because he was typecast. I could see him in a leading role. Indiana Jones, he could have done that. Maybe a romantic lead. Did they even let him test for the new James Bond roles? I'm sure he could have done "Ray" that the other black guy won an Oscar for recently. He was blackballed because he was a Republican and they had to keep him quiet.
