Destiny, Fate, Contentment

Destiny is what you work hard for to achieve.
Fate is what happens when you aren't content with what you've achieved.
Contentment is the hardest thing to achieve.

Whether you're a creationist or an evolutionist, you would have to agree man was destined for greatness from the beginning, whichever beginning that was. Fiction writers have written numerous ways man's fate is ended at the hands of his own achievements. We've already achieved at least one means of our own destruction in atomic weapons. We of course won't be content with just that and in the belief of self-preservation will will create more ways.

The above holds true for humanity as a whole and as individuals. Bill Gates will continue to try and swallow everything in the PC world regardless how big he gets. There was a guy that went to Vegas years ago and won until he won a casino. Not being content he went on gambling, fate caught up with him and he lost everything. To varying degrees, we are all like that.
