Ummmmmm

Oh yea, I had a blog. It's been like 10 weeks since I've made a peep. The last two posts seem to have been about WoW - I guess that's where I've been. Vtash and I are still having a ball. It's amazing that even past 50 I can still *ding* for level and it be a suprise. We have yet to have to grind during a level. We've just done quests and had fun and it seems to be as much because we really have fun together as it is the game itself.

After sacraficing the cow mentioned in the previous post we didn't do any real pvp. However in the last few weeks that's changed and we agreed this weekend that if you see yellow, kill the fellow - pvp players of the opposite faction have their name highlighted in yellow. Vtash wasn't on today so I sat at an elf outpost that sometimes gets attacked while fooling with the new UI. Rather quickly the defense alarms sounded and I rushed to the bridge, saw yellow, targeted the death ray - they died quicker than I could see who they were. The other player that was attacking cheered me and I looked at them and saw they were 60. I asked what level was that Horde I just vaporized - I learned I got my first 60 kill. :)

I go back to playing with the UI and in a little while the defense alarm goes off again and I wander outside the inn to see a 60th shaman taunting a 51 hunter. Not wanting to commit suicide I hung nearby to see what would happen. Suprisingly the hunter attacked and I wasn't going to let him die alone so I helped. Death ray, a couple of dots and the Imp machine gunning fireballs he went down quickly. Vtash - we can kill a 60 now. :)

Okay, I'm hooked. I had been out of soul shards (I collect souls from what I kill, don't be alarmed) so went to get some to be as effective as I could be. After coming back a 60th mage wandered in to set the alarms off. He snubbed his nose at us and I asked the hunter if I attacked would he back me up. He said Sure! I sacraficed my pet for 1500 extra HP, called my new Infernal demon pet (who comes crashing down as a meteor on top of the mage) death ray the mage followed up by soul fire fireball. My wee little 52 gnome warlock wiped out a level 60 undead mage in under 10 seconds, almost solo. The hunter laughs and says, "That was priceless". :)

The mage was a wee bit upset. He comes back, kills the hunter with what must have been a single blast then starts backing away from me (he may have been undead, but he learned fairly quickly about the death ray). A 60th paladin I think comes up and wipes the mage. The mage doesn't want to give up and comes back again, we start chasing him, finally chase him down (me and the paladin) and this time I do a killing blow with a death coil spell. We all go back to town and the mage comes back once again - he really doesn't like me at this point. He made sure I died first in the next fight. :) The last fight was a draw. He had been running out of my range so I couldn't death ray him, so I started off with the net-o-matic and nailed him to the ground so he couldn't run off. He blinked, an alternate form of running off, and then had to change me into a sheep before I could finish him off. When I un-sheeped I ran out of his range, so it was a draw. I was out of soul shards so decided to call it a night. me 4 and the 60s 1. :)
