What's in a name

Quite a bit it seems if you want to be president of the U.S. A look back at over two centuries of president names the oddest one is Filmore. I first heard about him talking to a friend of mine months ago and said then he didn't have a chance because of his name. His last name wouldn't fail him except it's combined with that first name and it sounds too much like Osama which I've noticed people are already unfairly making comparisons. Yeah, it doesn't make sense but common sense is left outside the voting booth when America votes. As proof the current president who was such a bad choice it was the first time I didn't vote for a Republican president and that was his first term. Looking at the names only, who has a chance?

Joe Biden - Biden time for what? Seems too weenie.

Chris Dodd - Short, simple, but sounds like dud.

Mike Huckabee - Didn't see the movie, reminds me of Huckleberry Finn, nope.

Barack Obama - Last name is strong but first name kills it. He appears to be black (I really don't know except for a couple of photos I've seen) which will bring a strong vote turnout and he seems to be popular, strong, and charasmatic. If he loses it will be because of his name.

Tom Tancredo - Not a chance.

Sam Brownback - President "Brownback" - too close to brown-noser - no way.

John Edwards - Name is great - wasn't he the one with the bad chin?

Dennis Kucinich - Not even when Charo was actually popular 30 years ago.

Bill Richardson - Name is okay - have no idea who he is.

Hilary Clinton - Didn't she already serve two terms? I'm ashamed to say it but there is a good chance I will vote for this ball-buster.

Rudy Giuliani - One word, Letch. I saw a photo on MSN from a Today Show interview or something, at this point he just looks like her Grandfather. He's not going to be able to touch her without it looking like groping and people are going to be thinking, "At least Clinton didn't dump his wife and marry the intern."

John McCain - Strong name and personality, has a good chance. Probably the only Republican currently in the running I would vote for over the ball buster.

Mitt Romney - Have no idea who he is and unless he's touched by an angel has no chance with that name.

Fred Thompson - Okay, he's not in the running yet and may not be. If he runs he has by far the best chance of any Republican to win and probably the best chance to win of anyone.
